An E-commerce brand, Jumia Nigeria has appointed marketing communications Expert, Lere Awokoya as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Prior his new appointment, Awokoya was the Head of Marketing for the brand, having joined the services of the company in 2021. Before joining Jumia, Awokoya also served as the Head of Marketing for the renowned betting giants, Betway, where he dedicated nearly four years of his career. With a strong background in brand marketing, Awokoya’s expertise is expected to drive Jumia’s marketing efforts to new heights.

During this time, he showcased his exceptional talents and steadily climbed the corporate ladder, eventually assuming the role of Spirits Senior Brand Manager.
