A leading home and personal care company, Eko Supreme Resources Nigeria Limited has appointed Samuel Akinrimisi as New Product Development Lead.

Akinrimisi’s return to Eko Supreme follows what industry insiders consider a remarkable tenure at CWAY Food & Beverages. As the Deputy Marketing Director at CWAY, Akinrimisi played a major role in shaping the marketing strategies for the company’s brands. His innovative approach and leadership skills were instrumental in revitalizing CWAY’s marketing system, breathing new life into the company’s promotional efforts. He also held sway for the company as acting Sales Director, period within which the company recorded a remarkable and historic performance, setting new benchmark.

With over 17 years of experience under his belt, Samuel Akinrimisi has carved out a reputation as a versatile professional with expertise spanning sales, marketing, and business development. Throughout his career, he has consistently left an indelible mark on the organizations he has served, earning a reputation as a business leader with a keen eye for consumer engagement and a drive for growth.

Colleagues and industry peers describe Akinrimisi as a go-getter with a commitment to integrity. His pursuit of knowledge and passion for making lasting impacts have been hallmarks of his professional journey.

Akinrimisi’s career began at Kosby Konsult, where he served as a Customer Service Executive. In this role, he honed his skills in customer relationship management, maintaining and developing connections with clients through various communication channels.

His next move took him to Nycil Limited, where he took on the role of Commercial Officer in Sales. This position allowed him to further develop his understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.

At Nagode Industries Limited, Akinrimisi’s career continued its upward trajectory as he assumed the position of Assistant Sales Manager. His responsibilities included managing key accounts for major players in the coating industry, such as Berger Paints and CAP Plc. He also oversaw relationships with key distributors, further expanding his network and industry knowledge.

Akinrimisi’s history with Eko Supreme Resources Nigeria Limited dates back to his earlier role as Business Development Manager and later transitioned to Brand Manager for Good Mama Detergent & Special Projects owing to his cravings for brand building.

Before his most recent role at CWAY, Akinrimisi served as the Category & Marketing Communications Lead at HPZ Limited (a subsidiary of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc). In this capacity, he was responsible for planning and executing annual marketing plans and initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals. His duties included developing media engagement plans, formulating growth strategies and marketing plans, and collaborating with communications agencies to launch nationwide campaigns.

Akinrimisi’s expertise and contributions to the marketing field has won him numerous accolades in the industry.

Samuel Akinrimisi’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Akoko, Ondo State. He further enhanced his business acumen by obtaining an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He is also a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.
