One of the largest paint manufacturer and distributor in Nigeria, Chemical and Allied Products Plc has appointed Adekemi Olurin-Alegbeleye as the Head of Consumer & Trade Marketing.
Prior to her new appointment, she was Managing Director at Dentsu X.
With over 15 years of experience in media and marketing, Adekemi is passionate about delivering innovative and impactful solutions that help clients achieve their business goals and connect with their audiences.
Her core competencies include brand building, marketing communications, connections planning, and strategic leadership. She has a certification from CIM UK and a membership in IAA Nigeria, which demonstrate her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Adekemi also have a background in accounting, which enables her to manage budgets and resources effectively. Her mission is to drive growth and excellence by leveraging her expertise and experience in the dynamic and diverse Nigerian market.
She started her career as a Marketing Manager at IT Consultant Limited, she then moved to Troyka Holdings Limited as Integrated Marketing Communication. She also worked at Starcom Media Perspectives as Media Manager before porting to Carat as Media Group Head.
At Dentsu X, Adekemi spent over 6 years rising from the position of Business Director, GM/COO to Managing Director.
Adekemi holds a BSC. Hons in Accounting from Lagos State University as well as a certification in professional marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
