With a strategic vision and a passion for impactful storytelling, Percy Paul Lubega leads the Marketing and Corporate Affairs team at Finance Trust Bank Uganda. From his base in Kampala, he crafts and drives innovative marketing strategies that strengthen the bank’s brand and extend its reach across Uganda’s financial landscape.

Lubega ’s role encompasses brand stewardship, cross-channel marketing campaigns, and the launch of customer-centric products. Through his proactive approach to customer engagement and communications, he ensures that every initiative not only enhances Finance Trust Bank’s market presence but also deepens relationships with key stakeholders.

His leadership ensures the bank’s brand resonates with its audience while fostering growth and innovation across its operations.

Prior to his current role, Lubega held the position of Head of Business at Finance Trust Bank for over seven years. In this capacity, he spearheaded the bank’s business strategy, driving growth across all business lines. His responsibilities encompassed product development, research, branding, alternative channel development, and customer service enhancements. His strategic vision was instrumental in expanding the bank’s market presence and strengthening its competitive edge in Uganda’s financial sector.

Before joining Finance Trust Bank, Lubega spent over eight years at Centenary Bank, where he held senior roles that honed his expertise in marketing and business development. As Chief Manager of Business Development from 2012 to 2016, he led initiatives in marketing, strategy, research, product development, and branding.

Earlier, as Marketing Manager, Lubega managed marketing, corporate social responsibility, and sales, significantly contributing to the bank’s growth and community engagement efforts.

Percy’s extensive experience in the banking sector, spanning over a decade, reflects his ability to navigate complex market dynamics and deliver results. His skill set includes strategic planning, business development, branding, and customer service, underpinned by a deep understanding of Uganda’s financial landscape. A proven leader, Percy combines analytical insight with creative marketing strategies to drive organizational success.
