Jaiz Bank opens new branches in a bid for expansion

The Premier non-interest bank in  Nigeria, Jaiz Bank Plc has opened five additional branches to move its branch network from 34 to 39.

The new branches are located in Funtua, Katsina State;  Zaria, Kaduna State; Iwo Road and Saki both in Oyo State and Osogbo in Osun State, a statement from the bank stated.

According to the bank, opening branches in major cities across the country is aimed at bringing non-interest financial services closer to the people who are desirous of the model of banking.

In a statement by the bank “We intend to open branches in all the geo-political regions of the country to be able to provide our unique services to the people who have been craving for ethical and non-interest banking”.

The statement said as part of its commitment to ensuring financial inclusion in the society, Jaiz Bank has commenced the deployment of new branch model that was specially dedicated to financial inclusion.

Jaiz Bank has been part of the process of ensuring financial inclusion through agency banking and also the use of technology to reach the unbanked.

In areas where the bank is not physically present yet, it says there are robust E-banking platforms that are securely accessible.
