Galaxy 947 Joburg Day unveils 2025 headliners

Galaxy 947 Joburg Day is set to make its return at the scenic Crocodile Creek Polo Club in Lanseria. This much-anticipated festival promises a memorable, family-friendly experience, bringing together Johannesburg’s lively community for a full day of music, food, and celebration.

The line-up features South Africa’s finest talent, headlined by Amapiano maestro Kelvin Momo and industry titan DJ Maphorisa, whose chart-topping hits will keep the crowd moving. Pop sensation Will Linley and rap powerhouse Nasty C are set to deliver electrifying performances, while Goodluck’s infectious pop-electronic fusion will elevate the festive vibe. Dynamic artist Mörda and crowd-favorite DJ Kent will ensure non-stop energy, with more artists still to be announced.

Beyond the music, attendees can indulge in a variety of local food stalls and family-friendly beverages, catering to all ages. “Galaxy 947 Joburg Day is a celebration of our vibrant spirit and the connections that bring us together,” said Hennie Myburgh, 947 station manager. “Let’s unite as a community, create unforgettable memories, and embrace the joy of music.”

Samsung Africa, a key partner, will showcase its Galaxy Fold7 technology, offering festival-goers an immersive, tech-forward experience. “This event is where innovation meets entertainment,” said Kgomotso Mannya, Samsung Africa’s chief marketing officer. “Our foldables are designed to unfold new possibilities, from capturing main-stage moments to sharing content seamlessly.”
