FrieslandCampina opens Technology Excellence Centre in Malaysia

FrieslandCampina has opened a Technology Excellence Centre in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The centre focuses on expanding global IT initiatives to impact the future operations of FrieslandCampina’s seven business groups.

Situated at Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (DLMI), a subsidiary of FrieslandCampina, the Technology Excellence Centre will focus on key areas like Data & Analytics, Cloud & Platform Engineering Services, and IT Service Management.

Burce Gultekin, Global Chief Information Officer at FrieslandCampina said: “Our vibrant location at DLMI in Malaysia fills us with pride. Kuala Lumpur offers a blend of economic and strategic benefits. The city boasts a pool of skilled talent, particularly in the IT sector, nurtured by decades of technological development. Our Technology Excellence Centre serves FrieslandCampina’s seven business groups across different regions, diverse cultures and markets. The team of IT-professionals reflects this diversity, with members from various nationalities, speaking different languages, and bringing valuable perspectives from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences.”

FrieslandCampina is the parent company of DLMI and has been associated with Malaysia for over sixty years, featuring well-known brands such as Dutch Lady, Friso, and Debic.
