Emerson Appoints Zenab Abbas as Marketing Director

Emerson has appointed Zenab Abbas as Marketing Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), strengthening the company’s regional marketing leadership as it expands its presence across key growth markets.

Abbas announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post, describing the move as both exciting and deeply personal as she begins a new chapter with the global automation and technology company.

In her new role, she will lead Emerson’s regional marketing initiatives and brand strategy, with a strong focus on driving business growth, strengthening customer engagement, and enhancing market visibility across the MEA region.

She brings more than a decade of experience leading regional marketing operations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific, particularly within industrial, infrastructure, cloud, AI, and technology-driven sectors.

Known for her expertise in B2B marketing, strategic communications, and brand management, Abbas has built a reputation for developing scalable go-to-market strategies, demand generation frameworks, and customer engagement programmes that simplify complex portfolios into clear, value-driven propositions.

Her experience also spans managing regional marketing programmes across direct sales teams and broader partner ecosystems, including strategic alliances, distributors, resellers, and consultants.

The appointment reflects Emerson’s continued investment in strategic marketing leadership as the company advances growth, innovation, and customer-focused solutions across the Middle East and Africa.
