
Access Bank Plc launches Season 15 of DiamondXtra, targets N135m Reward for Customers
Access Bank Plc has announced plans to reward customers with N135 million in its 15th edition of DiamondXtra Savings promo. The bank made this known to its customers during the launch of the 15th season of DiamondXtra at the Computer Village, Ikeja branch of the bank.
According to the bank, over 800 customers with the DiamondXtra Savings accounts are expected to smile home with a whopping N135 million in the Season 15 edition DiamondXtra an interest-yielding hybrid account that allows the deposit of both cash and third-party cheques now has 2.4 million customers as over 26,393 customers have been rewarded with more than N6.35 billion since its inception.
Mr. Bolarinwa Animashaun, the Regional Sales Director of the bank, while speaking at the unveiling said Access Bank is richly dependent on its customers hence their zeal to always go with them with the DiamondXtra Savings promo. He said, “We have given out more than N6.3 billion since the DiamondXtra started over fifteen years ago. “The process has always been transparent and this is why we have always been working with National Lottery Commission and the Consumer Protection Agency,” he said.
Also speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, the Group Head, Consumer Banking, Access Bank, Njideka Esomeju, said DiamondXtra is one of the best things that has ever happened to banking in Nigeria. She said all the customers needed to do was to open a DiamondXtra account with as little as N5000 and maintain a N5,000 deposit to qualify for the draws. She said twenty customers would at the venue of the launching of season 15 win N10,000 each, a gesture the bank raised to forty customers.
While speaking on the transparency of DiamondXtra, Mrs Suzzy Onwuka who was from the Lagos office of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) said they had been monitoring the DiamondXtra and could certify it very customer-friendly.
“Since we have been monitoring this programme, it has been transparent. We have never heard any complaint from any winner about not reviving his prize. “Looking at their terms and conditions, they are very friendly and that attests to how they have carried on. Kudos to Access Bank for rewarding their customers,” she said.
