AB InBev appoints Tolulope Adedeji to lead Labatt Breweries as Senior Director, Trade Marketing and Sales Operations

Tolulope Tomori Adedeji, a renowned Senior-level executive in the Marketing Communications space has been appointed to lead Labatt Breweries, an AB InBev company in Canada as Senior Director, Trade Marketing and Sales Operations.

The corporate Amazon, who in the course of her impact-driven career spearheaded some groundbreaking marketing strategies that drove disruptive innovation in the alcoholic beverage sector, previously served as the Marketing and Executive Director for world’s largest brewer AB InBev. Some of the brands she managed includes Budweiser, Trophy, Hero, Club beers and Beta Malt.

Elated and excited about her new appointment, Adedeji said “I’m excited and humbled to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Director, Trade Marketing and Sales Operations at Labatt Breweries of Canada! In the course of her career, Adedeji has built several brands from scratch to market leadership positions, including recently introduced premium flavored beer Flying Fish, through her extensive industry experience.
She has also previously served in various capacities, including Brand/ Commercial Associate Director of Procter & Gamble Nigeria; brand and Commercial Leader of the P&G business in Ethiopia; and has worked on various brands such as Always, Pampers, Ariel, Gillette and Oral B in Nigeria. Tolulope spearheaded the successful launch of Premium Trophy extra special stout in 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

With her achievements and footprints extending beyond borders, Adedeji who is also an Executive Director on the Board of International Breweries Plc was admitted into the Forbes Communications Council in 2022 in recognition of her laudable achievements.

This admission followed a thorough vetting and review of her various contributions to the excellence of the Alcoholic Beverage, Home & Personal Care industries, personal and professional achievements, and her track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics.

Tolulope holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babcock University, a Masters of Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master’s of Science in International Management from the University of Liverpool, UK. Tolulope recently completed a course in digital marketing from the prestigious Harvard Business School. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM).
