Huawei Launches New Corporate Ad Campaign in UK

Leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) products, Huawei, recently launched a new corporate campaign to promote the benefits of connectivity in the UK.

The campaign tagged ‘A Fully Connected Britain is a Fully United Britain’ will feature in advertisements right across the country in print, digital and outdoor, promising to help position the UK as a digital leader and boosting the economy.

Huawei has played a pivotal role in helping to shape the UK’s digital future since 2001. The campaign also highlights the £1.7 billion worth of additional value to GDP, the 26,000 jobs it supports and the £470 million in tax revenues Huawei contributes to the UK.

Speaking on the new campaign, Jerry Wang, Huawei’s UK CEO, said: “We have operated in the UK since 2001 and supply all the major telecom operators with our products and solutions. As long-term investors we are committed to helping create jobs and opportunities, building partnerships and supporting local communities across the UK.”

In 2017, the UK government released its ‘Industrial Strategy’ aiming at building a Britain fit for the future. Wang said Huawei is fully committed to helping the UK achieve this goal and become a world leader in digital connectivity. As a long-term investor in the UK, Huawei has already committed to spending £3 billion in the UK over a five year period (2018 – 2022). Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. With integrated solutions across four key domains—telecom networks, IT, smart devices, and cloud services—we are committed to bringing digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world.

“Our end-to-end portfolio of products, solutions, and services are both competitive and secure. Through open collaboration with ecosystem partners, we create lasting value for our customers, working to empower people, enrich home life, and inspire innovation in organizations of all shapes and sizes. At Huawei, innovation focuses on customer needs. We invest heavily in basic research, concentrating on technological breakthroughs that drive the world forward. We have more than 180,000 employees, and we operate in more than 170 countries and regions. Founded in 1987, Huawei is a private company fully owned by its employees,” Wang said.
