Carol Abade Emerges as MarketingWorld’s Experiential Marketing Personality of the Week

EXP’s CEO, Carol Abade, a result-oriented experiential marketing personality has been crowned as MarketingWorld’s Experiential Marketing Personality of the Week, from June 17th to June 23rd 2024.

Established in the year 2008, Carol Abade has been at the forefront of EXP, a Pan African experiential marketing and sponsorship agency, serving as its Group CEO.

After co-founding a company called Direct Marketing Communications, Carol joined forces with Group Africa Marketing to form EXP, which now has operations in more than 19 African countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, and South Africa, among others.

Since first becoming interested in experiential marketing, Carol has been actively involved in the launch of Exp in 15 countries over the last 20 years and considers this one of her greatest personal achievements to date. Her focus is on driving the multidimensional aspects of experiential marketing and effectively applying these techniques both from a commercial and social perspective in order to improve the living conditions of the poor in Africa, through Behaviour Change Communication modelling.

Carol’s current passion is in developing Social and Cause Marketing techniques to drive measurable change in behaviour for the greater good of the communities in which they work. She believes that communication is key to delivering real change and improving living conditions by empowering communities.

Carol is a Chair of the Africa Soft Power. She recently obtained a new certification: Generative AI Business Strategy from Section. She is also a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring mainly in Geography and Economics in the year 1992.

Her outstanding contributions to the agency make her a deserving recipient of the Experiential Marketing Personality of the Week recognition by MarketingWorld Magazine.
