Ghana Rubber Products Limited donates items to Osu Children’s Home, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital

A leading manufacturer and supplier of environment-friendly, food-friendly, and eco-friendly disposables, Ghana Rubber Products Limited has donated some items to the Osu Children’s Home and the Child Health Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital as part of its corporate social responsibility.

According to the Head of Human Resource and Marketing, Edward Lincoln Addo, the gesture is a way of giving back to society.

The items include tissues and some protective materials.

Speaking in an interview, Edward Lincoln Addo said the company is committed to supporting people in the society.

“This would uplift the expectations and put smiles on the faces of the children because sometimes, they face challenges with the items that are used in their upkeep and development. So once the items that they have is sufficient or insufficient, it is augmented by this gesture; I am sure that they would be excited”.

“They should be motivated by some of these gestures and then realise that they are not here alone, the larger society is with them and we associate with the challenges that they face on daily basis”, he added.

Senior Nursing Officer of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Evelyn Asabea Owiredu, expressed her outfit’s appreciation to the donors.

Ghana Rubber Products Limited also pledged to continuously support the people in the community they operate in and contribute to economic development.
