Three Crowns launches national campaign for World Milk Day

Three Crowns, a leading Nigerian milk brand under FrieslandCampina WAMCO, launched its “Treasure that Nourishes Our World” campaign to mark World Milk Day 2025, reinforcing its commitment to providing superior nutrition for mothers and families across Nigeria.

The campaign, which featured vibrant online and offline engagements in major cities, celebrated the vital role of dairy in supporting healthy diets and empowering mothers.

On June 1, Three Crowns hosted consumer engagement activities in strategic locations nationwide, including Sabo Bus Stop in Ikorodu, Lagos; Lugbe area on Airport Road, Abuja; Bodija Market in Ibadan; Sauna Dakar by Dakar’s Central Mosque in Kano; Old Airport Road in Jos; and Wetheral Junction in Owerri.

A highlight was the appearance of popular content creator Lizzy Jay, known as “Omo Ibadan,” who brought energy and excitement to the Ibadan event. Thousands of consumers participated, gaining education on dairy nutrition while celebrating the indispensable role of mothers in Nigerian families.

This year’s global World Milk Day theme, “Let’s Celebrate the Power of Dairy,” underscored dairy’s role as an accessible, affordable, and nutrient-dense food essential for balanced diets. Three Crowns seized the opportunity to highlight its support for maternal nutrition, acknowledging the multifaceted responsibilities of motherhood.

“The responses from mothers and families across the country were overwhelming and heartwarming,” said Chioma Igwe, Marketing Manager for Three Crowns. “This campaign celebrated these incredible women while reinforcing the importance of prioritizing their own nutrition with quality milk like Three Crowns.”

“The success of our World Milk Day campaign demonstrates the universal appreciation Nigerian mothers have for quality nutrition,” said Lilian Elue, Brand Manager for Three Crowns Milk. “Our activations went beyond celebrating dairy – they recognized the strength and sacrifices of mothers while ensuring they know the nutritional support available through Three Crowns.”

The multi-city events combined entertainment, education, and community connections, resonating deeply with participants. The campaign’s success was amplified by partnering with relatable personalities like Lizzy Jay, who connected authentically with Nigerian families. Three Crowns continues to be a preferred choice for families, recognized for its superior quality and nutritional value, aligning with global efforts to enhance family wellbeing.

World Milk Day, established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, is celebrated annually on June 1 to highlight milk’s importance as a global food source.
