Publicis Groupe Elevates Muyiwa Aleshinloye to a new position

A multinational advertising and public relations company, Publicis Groupe has promoted Muyiwa Aleshinloye as Head of Publicis Media, Central and West Africa (CWAR).

Prior to his new appointment, he was Director, Digital and Media, Central and West Africa at the same company where he drove the growth of the Digital and Media business for the Publicis Groupe across 22 markets in Central and West Africa and consolidated and expanded Publicis’ leadership and footprint in Anglophone, and Francophone markets.

Muyiwa has over a decade of experience in Digital Marketing, Integrated Media Strategy, and Brand Management. He has worked with some of the most reputable brands and agencies in Nigeria and beyond, delivering innovative and impactful digital and media solutions.

He has a strong background in data-driven marketing, business development, analytics, and performance marketing. He is also interested in emerging technologies and trends to shape the future of marketing communications.

Muyiwa’s career journey started at Skyteam Gas as Marketing Executive where he played a key role in new product launch to the market, secured distributor partnerships and increased Brand awareness and customer loyalty with the “Preferred Customer” program.

He then moved to MF Intrade Company as Business Development Manager with the responsibility of increasing sales volume by over 100% in one year by leveraging on strong listening, presentation and closing skills.

Other places he has worked include MediaVision Limited, WorldBay Technologies Ltd, Ringer AG, Nitro 121, Starcom Media Perspectives, Insight Redefini, and Wakanow.

Muyiwa holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN as well as a Masters Degree in the same course from the University of Lagos, UNILAG. He then went for an Advanced Planning and Strategy course at Africa’s Premier Pop culture, Innovation and Strategy school, Bschoolng. He volunteers at 02 Academy and Haptics as a mentor and facilitator, training young professionals in Digital Marketing, Strategy, Marketing & Advertising.
