Nigeria: UBA Rewards Over N41.8m to Loyal Customers in Legacy Promo

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has delighted its customers by rewarding over N41.8m in prizes to more than 100 lucky winners in the recently concluded UBA Legacy Promo series. This initiative, launched last year, was specially curated to celebrate UBA’s monumental 75-year legacy and its unwavering commitment to appreciating loyal customers.

The UBA Legacy Promo, open to various account categories such as Bumper Account, Savings Account, Kiddies & Teens Account, and NextGen Account holders, also included educational grants as part of the consolidation prizes.

The anticipation culminated at the Grand Finale draw, held at UBA’s Head office in Marina, Lagos last Thursday. The event, graced by journalists and representatives from regulatory bodies like the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), saw ten dedicated Savings Account customers each winning N1,000,000. The lucky winners are: Olonade Funmilayo, Abdullahi Yunusa, Anibueze Augustine Chidozie, Ibironke Adedayo, Gilbert Godswill Pepple, Ekonmene Daniel Leghemo, Oligbo Francis Azuka, Liafeez Adebowale, Abiodun Bolanle Felicia, and Adamu Bappayo.

Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, underscored the promo’s value in reinforcing the relationship between UBA and its community. He remarked, “UBA Legacy Promo is our way of saying thank you to our loyal customers who have trusted us over the years. As we celebrate 75 years of impact, we remain committed to deepening financial inclusion and providing innovative and customer-focused products and services. Our goal is to make banking more rewarding and life-changing, improving lives and building stronger communities.”
