One of Nigeria’s largest brewing companies, Nigerian Breweries Plc, has appointed an experienced brand handler and commercial excellence leader, Sandra Amachree as the Head of Marketing Communications.
In her new role, she will be responsible for all the innovative brand communication initiatives across the full portfolio of 21+ NB brands. She will also provide oversight of Media Excellence management for two West African Countries within the HEINEKEN International Group.
Before her appointment, Amachree was the Senior Manager – Media, Brand PR & Sponsorships of Nigeria Breweries where she led the entire OpCo Brands Portfolio to create meaningful narratives for each Brand, besides managing sponsorship acquisitions for the Brands as well.
She was also the HR Business Partner – Support Functions of the same company where she was charged with the responsibility of executing and rolling out the NB Plc career path framework for the Logistics division.
Amachree also implemented measures to strengthen employee engagement, company culture, and core values.
Dedicated to the development of Marketing in Nigeria, its intersection with business growth, and its positive impact on society, Amachree serves as the first female Chair Person of the Lagos Mainland Chapter of the NIMN.
Amachree also had a successful cross-functional career path in other functions like Sales and Human Resources, which has equipped her with the wealth of knowledge and expertise required to lead business transformation agendas, and drive business success through innovation, collaboration, and a focus on delivering impactful results.
She has a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and distinguished alumnus of the Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria.
Amachree also has a special Executive MBA course from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Pan Atlantic University and enjoys spending her free time playing lawn tennis and golfing.
