Nigeria: Nigeria Breweries Plc Appoints Kolawole Akintimehin As Senior Brand Manager, Heineken

Nigeria Breweries Plc has appointed as marketing professional, Kolawole Akintimehin as the Senior Brand Manager for its premium Heineken brand.

In his new role, Kolawole will be saddled with the responsibility of Building sustainable business value by enhancing consumer affinity and preference for Heineken and Tiger beers via consistency in delivering brand promise and creativity – in strategic communication and media investment choices, innovative solutions that address consumer needs, among other functions.

Prior to his new position, he served as the Senior Brand Manager, Flavoured Beer (Desprados and Star Radler) in the same organisation. He has also served in various capacities in different categories in Nigeria Breweries Plc for over eight years. He joined as an Assistant Brand Manager, Star and steadily climbed the corporate ladder to senior managerial role.

Also, prior joining the alcoholic beverage giants, Kolawole has worked at PZ Cusson.

Commenting on the new role, Kolawole said on his LinkedIn page, “I’d be bringing passion and expertise to build on the great work done in the past and drive business growth. Cheers to new beginnings and exciting challenges ahead.”

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Redeemer’s University Lagos.
