MarketingWorld’s CMO of the Week:Prisca Nairn of Sunlife

As Head of Marketing & Guest Experience for Sunlife, Prisca Nairn holds executive responsibility for shaping the guest experience and brand perception across the company’s luxury resort portfolio, which includes Sugar Beach, Long Beach, La Pirogue, and Ambre. Her leadership ensures the effective fusion of strategic marketing and superior service, upholding the company’s commitment to authentic, high-quality hospitality.

With a career etched in the sands of innovation and collaboration, she embodies the essence of hospitality: not merely hosting visitors, but igniting souls. Her journey at Sunlife spans over eight years, a testament to her unyielding passion for elevating every interaction into a memory that lingers like the island’s eternal breeze.

Nairn’s ascent began in the vibrant studios of Amadeus Brand & Communication Agency, where she honed her craft as a Marketing Executive, breathing life into campaigns that bridged dreams and deadlines. From there, she wove her magic at Les Brûleries de la Fournaise, pioneering marketing processes that blended client intimacy with creative flair.

At LUX* Island Resorts, as Marketing Production Executive, she spearheaded the bold rebranding from Naïade, coordinating multi-island photo shoots across Réunion, Maldives, and Mauritius that captured the group’s soul in vivid, sun-kissed frames. Her tenure at Southern Cross Hotels Mauritius as Communication & E-Marketing Executive marked a surge in digital prowess; she launched Solana Beach and the group’s flagship identity, mastering social media symphonies, OTA partnerships, and media relations to draw global wanderers to Mauritian shores.

The pulse of Nairn’s expertise quickened at INEDI Design, where as Project Manager, she unveiled Kanuhura—a five-star Maldives gem—for Sun Resorts. Collaborating with supermodel Erin Wasson for iconic shoots, she managed collaterals, signage, and campaigns with the precision of a maestro, ensuring every detail resonated with opulent harmony. This pinnacle propelled her back to Sunlife as Brand & Project Manager, where she evolved into Head of Marketing & Communication, fostering teams through leadership and interpersonal finesse.

Today, Nairn’s toolkit—project planning, coordination, presentation prowess, and unwavering teamwork—drives Sunlife’s “Come Alive” ethos, blending sustainability initiatives like marine discoveries and bee biodiversity with guest-centric innovations. In her world, marketing isn’t promotion; it’s the art of anticipation, where empathy meets execution to redefine luxury. Prisca Nairn doesn’t just market experiences—she curates legacies, inviting the world to come alive in Mauritius’ embrace.
