His work helped strengthen the bank’s brand positioning as one of Africa’s most dynamic financial institutions while supporting key milestones in its growth and expansion.

Earlier in his career, Okobi held marketing leadership roles with multinational consumer brands, including Diageo and Heineken. At Diageo, he managed the Johnnie Walker brand in Nigeria, executing major integrated marketing campaigns and driving market growth through consumer insight and brand activation strategies. At Heineken, he led brand management initiatives for Gulder, delivering innovative marketing programmes that strengthened market share and brand loyalty.
