The board of International Breweries Plc has appointed Carlos Coutino as its new managing director following the resignation of Hugo Rocha.
The board also approved the appointment of David Tomlinson as the company’s new finance director, effective January 1, 2023, according to a statement.
He succeeded Eduardo Caceres, who had also resigned from the board.
Both directors will move on to new roles within AB-InBev to continue their career development, in keeping with AB-culture InBev’s of meritocracy and supporting people development.
Rocha will become BU president for El Salvador and Honduras, and Caceres will become Beer Tech South Africa’s head of revenue and finance.
Coutino is an industrial engineering graduate with an MBA specialization in strategy. He joined ABInBev in 2004 and has spent the last 18 years at the top of the company’s sales, marketing, and trade marketing functions across three continents and seven countries.
