Ghana: PepsiCo, Transmed launch Ceres Nectar on the market

PepsiCo, in partnership with Transmed Ghana Limited have launched the new Ceres Nectar range of Juices in addition to the already existing ones on the market.

The launch of new additions to the Ceres family in Accra, according to Commercial Lead-PepsiCo Exports East, West and rest of the world, Isabel Coetzer, forms part of the brand’s commitment to providing consumers with the best quality products.

“Ceres Fruit Juices have become an integral part of Ghanaians’ lives over the past decade. Ceres is known for bringing the best of nature to consumers with high-quality goodness and delicious taste in a wide range of flavours. We are therefore very excited to be able to announce that we have launched Ceres Nectars in Ghana. We now offer our consumers and customers additional uncompromising choices at a broader range of affordability,” she noted.

She added that the brand will continue listening to consumers’ demands and evolve flavours while taking into consideration the uncompromising quality of the product.

The brand is poised to differentiate itself on the market through value-offering and affordability, hence the New Ceres Nectar launch.

PepsiCo Marketing Manager for Juices-West East and Central Africa, Karen Veysey said “Made by the same tenth-generation Master Juice Makers responsible for crafting the Ceres 100% range, this expanded range-offering ensures that Ceres offers something for all Ghanaians – for all occasions.

“The range has been developed based on extensive Ghanaian consumer research. This gave us in-depth insights into Ghanaian consumer preferences, wants and needs. One key insight was that in addition to what is currently offered by the much-loved Ceres 100 percentage range, Ghanaian consumers were also looking for juices with a thicker texture and a more intense, sweeter, fruitier taste. We listened, and that culminated in this exciting launch.”

She added that Ceres Nectars are refreshing, satisfying and perfect for energising and enjoying any time of the day, and the vibrant and fun-pack designs reflect the juices’ fruity deliciousness.

Ceres Nectar comes with five flavours in one litre and 200ml pack sizes which feature varieties like: Tropical blast, Mango orange, and Multifruit Fusion – which is a fusion of bananas, pineapple, apple, orange, peach and strawberry. Caribbean Crush comes with a crush of pineapple, banana, coconut and pear.

Ceres packs are made from recyclable material sourced from certified forests that are responsibly managed and meet the highest environmental standards. The 200ml pack has an eco-friendly paper straw.
