Eunice Asantewaa Ankomah Emerges as MarketingWorld’s PR Personality of the Week

Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement System’s Team Lead, Corporate Communications & Branding, Eunice Asantewaa Ankomah, a strategic communications expert has been crowned as MarketingWorld’s PR Personality of the week, from May 11th to May 17th 2024.

As an experienced Corporate & Marketing Communications Strategist with a passion for Digital Finance and Social Impact, Eunice specializes in leading initiatives that help brands build consensus, enhance visibility and drive customer engagement. Throughout her career, she has developed a keen understanding of the financial technology industry, spearheading communication strategies that break down complex concepts for easy comprehension by the general banking public.

Her journey began as a Communications Officer, where she honed her skills in bridging the gap between profits and purpose. She has led the launch and go-to-market strategies for groundbreaking initiatives like Ghana’s Universal QR Code and Mobile Money Interoperability, contributing to financial inclusion and digital transformation.

Currently serving as a Senior Officer and Team Lead in charge of Corporate Affairs & Communications at GhIPSS, she oversees communications strategy development and implementation for digital financial services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful communication campaigns. Her commitment to excellence and innovation has led to tangible results, including increased brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of digital financial services.

Passionate about making a difference beyond the corporate realm, she volunteers as a Financial Literacy Approach Strategist and Trainer at ACMFL, empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to navigate the financial landscape confidently. Additionally, she serves as the Communications Team Lead at AFPNC, advocating for the interests of preterm and newborn infants and their families across Africa.

With her core competencies in Public Relations & Social Media Development, Branding, Digital Finance, ESG, Stakeholder Management, Event Planning & Implementation, and Internal Communication Strategies, she is dedicated to leveraging her skills to drive positive change and create inclusive opportunities for all.
