Airtel offers complimentary access to YouTube Premium till Q1 2021

Telco Airtel is offering free complimentary access to YouTube Premium for a period of three months via the Airtel Thanks App. The offer is valid for only those customers who are currently not availing of YouTube Premium.

The service is available to limited Airtel premium users.

However, there is a caveat as the offer is valid till 22 April 2021 and it will not be available to YouTube Red and Google Play Music subscribers, in addition to the existing YouTube Premium subscribers.

Also, if a subscriber has previously availed a trial or subscribed to YouTube Music Premium or Google Play Music, they will not get access to the complete range of YouTube Premium features.

Once the trial has ended, users will be shifted to the paid plan and they will have to pay accordingly, added the report. However, users will have the option to cancel the trial anytime.

Bharti Airtel has started offering its postpaid and broadband subscribers a complimentary Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, ETTelecom reported.

Postpaid subscribers having an active plan of Rs 499 and above, and broadband subscribers having an active plan of Rs 999 and above will be able to avail of the VIP subscription benefit and the same can be activated via the Airtel Thanks app.

The subscription is priced at Rs 399 and was earlier only available to prepaid customers getting a recharge of Rs 401, Rs 612, Rs 1,208, Rs 2,599 and more.
